Greetings from Turkey!

This will be a short post. One good reason is because the tournament is still in progress. And because uploading pictures now will be a pain in the ass.

Ok, I am in Istanbul, Turkey. I am currently playing in the 2012 World Chess Olympiad. And yes, I am a chess player. That was obvious.

I am now more than half way through the competition. Things have been pretty smooth so far. My little hyper active team of girls have been really fun to hang out with. Love them!

The hotel is awesome. I like the room and it's facilities. I like the super fluffy pillows. And I max love their weather! It's autumn now and it's really windy. Wee~

Come to think of it, the food is pretty good too. Although I do wonder about their lack of tomato sauce and I avoid their yogurt/mint soups.

But suffice to say, I am being very well FED :P

I love representing my country :')
Before I delve further, here's a brief explanation of the team composition, schedule etc.:

There are 2 teams: Men and Girls Women.

Each team consists of 5 players. For every round, 4 will play and the 5th player will rest. We take turns resting. Duh.

Men's Team
  1. Mok Tze Meng
  2. Jimmy Liew
  3. Yeoh Li Tian
  4. Lim Zhuo Ren
  5. Lim Yee Weng
Women's Team
  1. Najiha Azman Hisham
  2. Nabila Azman Hisham
  3. Fong Mi Yen
  4. Tan Li Ting
  5. Camillia Johari
Stupid question: Spot my name.

There are 11 rounds, 1 round per day with 2 free days inserted. So anyway, today is round 8. I'm resting which means I'm not playing today.

That explains this post.

And, okay... that's about it. Will elaborate further after coming back to Malaysia.

If you wanna know more about the results and games, go HERE.

On to other matters:

One thing I find I desperately need to invest in is a laptop.

It is sooo important!

Grr... I WANT A PINK LAPTOP! Or white. Or a free one... but must be a good one lah. Can't wait, can't wait!

And once I get back to Malaysia, I am so going to be one hardworking ladyy! So many goals I wanna achieve that take time.

Alright. Going to *secret mumbling*

Go Malaysia!
